The Outpatient Professional engages with patients and other health-care suppliers to collect, transportation and/or procedure blood and other body fluids from a full spectrum of the patient population. He/she performs EKG procedures in combination with the Department of Cardiology. He/she participates in instructional and training activities and might take part in the efficiency of routine administrative and non-routine technical functions.
Position Requirements
Education
- Successful completion of an authorized training program including both lectures and useful application in phlebotomy or comparable education or experience.
- Will be trained in house to carry out EKG functions.
Experience
- One year’s experience carrying out similar duties chosen.
- Should have great typing skills.
