The CDC will quickly reduce its assistance for quarantine durations following direct exposure to COVID-19, AP reported Tuesday and Axios can validate.
Why it matters: Quarantine assists avoid the spread of the coronavirus, which can happen prior to an individual understands they’re sick or if they’re contaminated without feeling any symptoms. The current recommended period to stay at home if exposed to the virus is 14 days. The CDC plans to modify this to 10 days or seven with a negative test, a main informed Axios.
