Job Description

The Phlebotomy student will find out the performance of venipuncture and capillary puncture together with other fundamental skills utilized to collect laboratory specimens for analysis and to aid in the treatment and care of clients in a confidential, productive, and expert way.

The length of time is the course?

The training course is four weeks. Throughout the first two weeks, students will hang around in classroom and at sites doing observation and hands-on training. Throughout the last 2 weeks, students will finish a clinical externship at numerous Intermountain Health care hospitals.
