Phlebotomist (Part-Time) - Phlebotomy

Hours: Varied, Every other weekend

JOB SUMMARY:

The phlebotomists at Penn State Health perform venous and capillary blood collections from inpatients and outpatients and get other laboratory specimens (24 hour urine containers, sputum and stool specimens), and splitting of random urine specimens.

General computer system abilities and extra language abilities (ie Spanish) preferred

CPR accreditation chosen

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to stand and walk regularly; sit periodically.
