Monitors collection of all specimens
Collects client’s specimens
Performs Point of Care (POC) PT/INR testing.
Administrative clerical duties
Guarantees quality care/service to clients
Assures all new phlebotomists are trained appropriately
Applies knowledge of age-related aspects properly to patients, making use of suitable policies and procedures
Reports to: Director of Laboratory
FLSA: Non-exempt

Certifications
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent – Required
Required Abilities
Requires important thinking abilities, decisive judgment and the ability to work with very little guidance.
Minimum Work Experience
Three years experience as a phlebotomist is preferred.
