Will call Phlebotomy staff in a professional way when errors occur and provide documents for re-training and counseling concerns
Will report any facility needs to instant manager for address.
Will work in an expert and cooperative manner with Phlebotomy Supervisor to resolve interdepartmental problems or scheduling problems
Will help with all NEW PSC’s and when a PSC is being closed
Participates in and supports all Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement undertakings for the laboratory, as relevant
Will perform any additional duties appointed by the Phlebotomy Supervisor/Manager
In addition to a staff member’s common work schedule, this position requires workers to work weekends, split shifts, overtime, and holidays if required by the business.
Periodic reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
Frequent, extended standing/sitting/walking
Should be able to see, hear, and react properly
Substantial computer work
Regular usage of telephone and fax
Occasional travel needed to engage with Division personnel and/or go to meetings, educational training
Work Experience and Educational Requirements
Legitimate Licensed Phlebotomy Professional 1 Certificate
3-5 years previous experiences in training or lead position chosen.
