The Client Outreach Provider Professional performs technical and non-technical tasks within the WellStar Laboratory Outreach specimen collection locations.

Credentials

Required Minimum Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Phlebotomy certification chosen, but not needed

Required Minimum Experience

  • At least 1 year of previous computer system abilities required and/or finished WellStar Laboratory Outreach externship
  • At least 1 year of Client Service experience needed and/or finished WellStar Laboratory Outreach externship
  • At least 1 year of previous phlebotomy and specimen processing experience needed and/or completed WellStar Lab Outreach externship

Required Minimum Skills

  • Needs exceptional Client Service skills; need to be able to demonstrate usage of right grammatical English; requires efficient and accurate computer skills
  • Should be able to work and preserve professional disposition under stressful conditions
  • Requires effective multi-tasking and organizational abilities; must be able to gracefully maintain composure in difficult situations
