About 7,000 labor camp prisoners have actually been released in North Korea just recently in the middle of the coronavirus scare, according to the UN point male on North Korean human rights.

Radio Free Asia last week reported that the program “purchased local cash-strapped governments and impoverished locals to bear the cost for housing and feeling” the released prisoners.
Qintana likewise urged the South Korean government to take the effort in protecting defectors.
