yet another medicine diaries video where I share with you a part of my journey to (hopefully) getting accepted to medical school! in this video I wanted to share with you what I learnt through doing a phlebotomy course which is taking blood. doing this course was sort of a ‘two birds with one stone’ because not only will it be a good experience for medicine but also it will help me do the research I do for my cancer medicine MRes course that I am doing at King’s College London. although learning to take blood might not seem like a significant thing, especially to those who are either doctors or nurses or in the healthcare profession, but to me it meant a lot because it was my first taste of medicine, the practical aspect anyway! either way, I hope you enjoy this video!
