Klopp: 'Salah negative for COVID'

Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp revealed Mohamed Salah checked unfavorable for coronavirus and will undergo the required tests ahead of Atalanta.

The Orobici face Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League today and Salah seemed set to miss out due to COVID-19

After the 3-0 win against Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday, Klopp stated the Egypt worldwide had checked negative.

” That’s what I have actually heard, a negative today,” Klopp told Sky Sports. “I believe from now he’s pretty typical in all the screening.

” Tomorrow we have UEFA testing and I’m quite sure he will remain in that.

” He can train with us tomorrow. There are two tests in the next two days, so he will be evaluated.”

Mohamed Salah scored one and helped Sadio Mané in the 5-0 win at the Gewiss Arena ahead of the global break, when Diogo Jota scored a hat-trick for the Reds.
