We’ve found that taking both courses is a good way to be competitive in the task market considering that many healthcare employers are trying to find specialists who can fill numerous roles.

I really wished to be a nurse. I wanted to go into the nursing program and most now need that you have experience in the field and you can’t get experience without remaining in the field, so I began the CNA class due to the fact that I felt that was the most broad spectrum class. From there I wound up falling in love with the KSU program and taking the Phlebotomy and EKG which I wound up with a job in a blood lab, a startup company, then landed my task in the ER now. I’ve made many friends, numerous connections and just helping people is actually my passion and this was the way to get to it.

For me personally, the most handy thing I found out in EKG was actually reading them since we have cardiovascular disease that can be found in and not everyone can really read them perfect off. The EKG machine does not constantly inform us so I’ve been able to catch a couple of without really the maker letting us know.

I liked Phlebotomy, that’s really my preferred class. I was in fact really afraid of needles prior to. Teachers in fact gave us an excellent insight of how to help individuals are afraid of needles and I conquered my fear too.

I feel like they truly prepare you for it, since a lot of people that remain in that field currently don’t have that experience of strolling in with you know a certification for Phlebotomy and EKG.
