The Phlebotomy Services Tech is responsible for collection and processing of blood samples and other specimens as defined by site. Provides a high level of customer service for lab inquiries, test requirements, and other laboratory information.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- 6 months Phlebotomy work experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a phlebotomy program preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Specimen processing for send outs (Lab testing), result entry audits ability preferred
- Hospital experience preferred
Hours are variable: it would be a mix of 2 evening shifts per week, 0700 shifts, and a weekend + Holiday rotation
Physical Requirements – Light work – (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)
