Carrying out a venipuncture using a butterfly needle

Winged blood collection (butterfly) sets are light-weight, maneuverable, and allow for a lower angle of insertion when carrying out a venipuncture. Butterflies must not be utilized on every patient. In this video, we demonstrates the proper technique for drawing blood by venipuncture using a winged-blood collection (butterfly) set.
